About
Jesse Deason, CFP®, CDFA®, EA
Jesse works as a financial mediator, a financial neutral on Collaborative Divorce cases, and as a financial consultant retained by one spouse in amical and cooperative divorces. In addition to this work, she owns a fiduciary financial planning and investment management practice that caters to divorced individuals new to managing their personal finances. As of 2026, Jesse has worked on more than 200 divorce cases.
Jesse currently serves as Secretary on the board of directors of the Collaborative Professionals of Washington, Washington’s statewide community of Collaborative Divorce professionals. In addition, Jesse serves on the board of directors of the Interfaith Family Shelter, a nonprofit in Snohomish County that provides emergency housing and social services to families experiencing homelessness.
Before beginning her career in personal finance, Jesse spent ten years in public and private industry working in the environmental field. After completing graduate school at the University of Michigan, she was awarded a highly prestigious two-year fellowship in the Presidential Management Fellows Program, the federal government’s premier leadership development program. When her fellowship concluded, Jesse went to work for an international environmental consulting firm. She has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and during her time at the consulting firm, Jesse founded the hydropower industry’s first women's industry group.
Jesse hails from the east coast. She currently lives and works in Everett, where she moved with her family in 2015.

Nicole Zitnik
Nicole supports Serene Divorce Planning in all areas administrative. Before coming to work for Serene Divorce Planning, Nicole spent four years working as a Marketing Coordinator for a local financial planning firm. Nicole and her family enjoy going on walks, playing outside with their two German Shepherds, and going camping all over Washington, Idaho, and Oregon.

Aaron supports Serene Divorce Planning with marketing, creative, and technical aspects. Aaron lives in Fullerton, CA, with his wife and their cat, Biscuit. They enjoy going to Disneyland, reading, and watching Huskies football games.
